Carafe with stopper made of clear glass. Its rectangular, multifaceted body features a concave surface cut, a solid base, and a multifaceted neck with a flared and polished lip. The upper section is decorated with burnished gold painting depicting vines with foliage. The matching, ground, square stopper features a small chip at the lower end. The polished base features a ball and painter's mark. The carafe is in perfect condition, with light limescale deposits on the interior. France, circa 1870-80.
