Vase with braided thread decoration, Loetz, Creta Chine decor, form 7248

Tall vase made of colorless and green-backed glass, vertically optically ribbed with a braided, plastic net made of colorless threads, ovoid body with tubular neck, flared and gilded vase rim, matt iridescent surface, base with a dislocated tear-off. Vase is in intact condition. Loetz widow in Klostermühle, around 1898-1900, form PN I-7248, height: approx. 25.4 cm. Lit: J. Mergl; E. Ploil; H. Ricke: Lötz, Bohemian glass 1880 - 1940.
