Vase with fish and dragonflies, designed by Karl John; Ernst Hantich, Haida, c. 1931.

Vase made of colorless lead crystal glass containing air bubbles; features a distinct circular foot and an ovoid body with a constricted neck and fire-polished rim. The body is decorated with a colorful inter-layer design depicting aquatic plants, fish, and dragonflies encircling the piece. Signed "Johnolyth" on the base. The vase is in excellent, undamaged condition. Manufactured by Ernst Hantich & Co. in Haida; designed by Karl John, circa 1931. Height: approx. 18.0 cm.
