Vase made of violet underlaid glass with floral decoration, Loetz around 1915

Vase made of colorless glass with violet opal underlay and colorless overlay, ovoid body with slightly raised base and scalloped bowl rim, three attached, band-shaped appliqués made of black-violet glass, bowl rim with black applied glass thread, wall with stylized black solder decoration in the form of flowers, base with a spherical tear-off. Vase is in intact condition. Loetz widow in Klostermühle, around 1915. Height: approx. 13.5 cm, diameter: approx. 11.5 cm. Lit.: Lötz - Bohemian Glass 1880-1940, Hatje Cantz Verlag.
