Vase made of light green, transparent uranium glass (Goldcypern), flared round base, calabash-shaped body with a short, cylindrical rim, the wall with flat gold painting in the form of a stylized acanthus frieze contoured with black solder, the base inscribed with a signature in black solder: F.H. 495/5, 1194. The vase is in undamaged condition, the gold painting slightly rubbed in places. Fritz Heckert in Petersdorf, form design by Ludwig Sütterlin, decor by Adolf Heyden, around 1900.
