Lit: Alina Görny studied painting, graphics and glass design at the University of Fine Arts in Wroclaw in Poland. In 1977 and 1978 she worked at the Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington with Gary Beecham, Dale Chihuly, David Huchthausen and Joel Myers. In 1981 she became co-owner of the Franzensbad glass studio in Baden near Vienna.
