Rare and tall stemmed glass with jade-like cut decoration, Josephinenhütte, A. Pfohl

Rare tall stemmed glass made of colorless crystal glass, solid round base, faceted stem with notched sides and thickened top, featuring a double-conical, faceted knop, ovoid, bowl-shaped with cobalt blue overlay, body with a full, continuous decorative cut in the form of flowers and stylized garlands, front with hunting motifs: a hunting dog with prey, rim and foot with polished gold stripes. The stemmed glass is in intact condition. Josephinenhütte, design by Alexander Pfohl, cut probably by Wenzel Benna, circa 1928-30. Height: approx. 27.0 cm, diameter: approx. 10.3 cm.
