Rare cut vase with garnet mount & insect, Meyr's nephew around 1890

Rare vase made of colorless glass, diamond-shaped body, notched wall with wedge, steinel and facet cut, the wedge cut notched at the tips, matted wall in the middle with garnet mount and plastic insect, polished base with notched cut star, gilded vase rim. Vase more damaged from one side at the corners. Meyr's nephew in Adolf near Winterberg, around 1890. Height: approx. 18.2 cm. Lit: Pauzarek, Modern glasses, page 70.
