Glashütte: Josephinenhütte
Rare vase made of transparent green crystal glass, so-called Cyprus glass. Its curved, optically ribbed body features a bulbous centerpiece and three applied bands with fan-shaped, extended tongues. The body features fine feather gold painting and ornamentation in polychrome enamel painting. The rim and base are gilded. The vase is in perfect condition. Josephinenhütte, circa 1900. The painting is probably by Hans Fechner. Height: approx. 21.0 cm. References: Stefania Zelasko, Josephinenhütte 1900-50, pages 66-67.
