Champagne flute with raised gold painting, Fritz Heckert, designed by Jummel, c. 1885

Champagne flute of colorless glass with an amber luster finish; hollow circular foot with gold lines; hollow baluster stem with raised rings; tall, conical, funnel-shaped bowl; decoration featuring raised paste gold and burnished gold painting alongside small enameled floral motifs; gilded rim and foot edge. The flute is in excellent condition. Fritz Heckert, Petersdorf; design likely by Oskar Jummel, shape 283, circa 1885–1900. Height: approx. 28.7 cm.
