Champagne cup with a caricature by Hans Schliessmann, Bakalowits, Vienna around 1900

Goblet / champagne goblet made of colorless glass, on the front side on the slightly conical wall in polychrome transparent enamel figurative staffage of Viennese life executed on form with inscription: "Fuchzehn um jenn Kreuzer", signed Schliessmann and inscribed H.S., gilded lip rim, base with dislocated tear and Bakalowit's manufactory stamp Vienna. Hans Schliessmann for Bakalowits & Sons, Vienna, around 1900. Height: approx. 10.4 cm. Lit: Hans Schließmann, 1852 Mainz-1920 Vienna, painter, graphic artist and glass painter, came to Vienna at the age of five, worked for the "Flying Sheets" and the "Humoristic Sheets", since 1887 a member of the Vienna Artists' House.
