Very large vase with silver yellow threads, Josephinenhütte, designed by Camillo de Maess

Very large vase made of blue-dark purple glass, solid round base, four-fold pressed wall with a tubular neck and four-fold lobed mouth. Wall covered with silver-yellow threads and drawn into an irregular wave pattern, surface matt iridescent under steam. Bottom with dislocated tear and strong sliding marks. Vase is in intact condition. Josephine Hut, bronze Cyprus decor, designed by Julius Camillo de Maess around 1898-1900. Height: approx. 38.8 cm, diameter: approx. 25.0 cm.
