Bowl with symmetrically pierced air bubbles, Venini around 1950-55

Bowl made of colorless glass with a topaz-colored core (sommerso technique) and symmetrically arranged, pierced air bubbles; free-formed, square body with a fire-polished rim; polished base showing signs of shelf wear and a faintly visible acid-etched Venini mark. The bowl is in excellent condition. Venini, Murano; design by Carlo Scarpa, circa 1950–60. Height approx. 4.5 cm, diameter 11.5 cm.
