Bowl with symmetrically pierced air bubbles, Venini around 1950-55

Bowl made of colorless, green-underlaid glass (Sommerso) with symmetrically arranged, pierced air bubbles. A free-form, square body with a warmed rim and a polished base with sliding marks. The bowl is in undamaged condition. Venini, Murano, designed by Carlo Scarpa, circa 1950-60. Height approx. 4.0 cm, diameter 11.0 cm.
