Ruby red overlaid cup with cut putto decoration, Haida around 1915

Cup made of colorless glass with ruby red overlay, club-shaped vessel body in the lower part with ornamental cut-through ornamentation, in the upper part a surrounding frieze with deep-cut depictions of puttos in a grassy landscape with trees, offset lip edge. Cup is in intact condition. Design by the Haida technical school, executed by local glass refineries around 1915-20. Height: approx. 19.0 cm, top diameter: approx. 9.5 cm.
