Pair of large vases with antique decor, Johann Oertel in Haida around 1920

Pair of large vases made of light blue colored glass, tulip-shaped body with faceted walls. Contour lines in polished gold, front with Helenistic depiction and ornamental decoration in polished gold, some of which are slightly rubbed. Vases are in intact condition. Haida technical school, sales department Johann Oertel & Co. in Haida. circa 1915-25. Height: approx. 24.8 cm. Diameter: approx. 18.0 cm.
