High-quality plate made of opalescent glass / milk glass, on the rim fine gold and enamel painting in the form of flowers and delicate rose decoration, in the mirror fine transparent enamel painting with a view of Sternberg Castle, as well as a small lucky beetle, edge of the plate with polished gold application. Plate is in intact condition. Count Schaffgotsch'sche Josephinenhütte in Schreiberhau, design probably by Franz Pohl, painting is strongly reminiscent of works by Moritz Finsch and Franz Julius Krause around 1848-50.
