Glazed goblet glass with engraved Tree of Life and attached ladder, circa 1850-60

Goblet made of colorless glass with a multicolored glazed surface, solid round base, stem with a double-conical knop, attached conical bowl with arched facets in the lower part, the visible side of the body engraved with a depiction of the Tree of Life with a ladder beside it, symbolizing ascent and transformation, warmed rim, base with a slightly dislodged rim. The goblet is in good condition. German, circa 1850-60. Height: approx. 11.5 cm, diameter: approx. 6.4 cm.
