Small bowl with seascape, Daum Freres, Nancy around 1914

Small bowl made of colorless glass with yellow and ruby pink powder inclusions, and overlaid with green and salmon pink, wall with relief etched decoration of a seascape with shore plants, reeds and trees with a view over a body of water to the other shore, internal drawing in high etching, four-pass pinched mouth edge, on the Wall marked: DAUM NANCY with Cross of Lorraine (etched). The bowl is in good condition, the base has slight crazing. Daum Frères & Cie, Verreries de Nancy, around 1914. Height: approx. 6.0 cm, diameter: approx. 14.7 cm.
