Carafe with Egyptian decor, Fritz Heckert, designed by Rade & Thamm, Cairo, 1895

Carafe with stopper made of light green uranium glass, iridescent under steam, blown in the mold and freely formed, rectangular body with tubular neck and flared spout rim, wall with decoration of floral hangings painted in flat gold color, contours framed in blue and red, mouth rim with gold decoration, hollow blown Plug. Polished base with dislocated tear-off. Carafe is in intact condition, gold painting slightly rubbed.
