Hunting cup in the Renaissance style with duck hunting in enamel painting, Riedel around 1884

Hunting cup in the Renaissance style made of olive green glass, body tapering towards the top with a flared stand and attached handle, below the mouth, applied, gold-plated glass thread. On the wall below the glass thread, a duck hunt painted all around with people in opaque enamel painting, a star border with bows in colorful enamel painting all around the stand on display, a fused, gilded lip edge. Cup is in intact condition. Josef Riedel glassworks in Polaun, form no. 143/84 around 1884. Height: approx. 8.7 cm, diameter: approx. 13.0 cm. Lit. Drawing book 15 from Josef Riedel.
