Tall bottle made of colourless glass with overlay and enamel painting, Russia around 1840

Tall bottle with stopper made of colorless glass with cobalt blue overlay, multi-articulated body with eight-fold peeled wall, cylindrical neck with folded, curved edge, the articulated body optically separated by cobalt blue bands with stone decoration, on the wall fine white enamel painting in dot decoration, base with large dislocated tear, matching ground and decorated stopper. Bottle is in undamaged condition, stopper end with minor damage. Russia around 1840-50. Height: approx. 25.5 cm.
