Large, rare vase with bird and insects, designed by Siegfried Haertel around 1921

Vase made of light blue glass with gold and colorful opaque enamel painting. Stylized decor: birds and insects between tendrils. Mouth and foot rim with polished gold. Underside of the base with a dislocated tear and signature JH in gold. Vase is in intact condition. Josephinenhütte, designed by Siegfried Haertel, form 4257/I, decor 2068 around 1921.
