Vase made of smoky brown, optically ribbed glass, melted, sixfold extended and pinched foot, baluster-shaped body with tubular glass, melted, wave-shaped pinched glass thread, alternating upward and downward pinched vase rim with polished gold, wall on the visible side with polychrome opaque enamel painting surrounded by polished gold painting in the form of cherry branches with flowers, leaves and buds. Underside of the floor with a dislocated tear. Vase is in intact condition. France or Bohemia, in the style of August Jean, ca. 1880. Height: ca. 31.0 cm, diameter: ca. 17.0 cm. Lit: G. Cappa, L'Europe de L'Art Verrier.
