Large Murano sculpture made of free-form colorless glass with a black interior and enclosed gold shimmer, as well as violet spiral glass threads in the interlayer. The torn mark features opaque white teeth and a red tongue. The eyes are made of opaque white glass with red dots. The entire body is decorated with applied rigarre. The sculpture is in undamaged condition. Tigers of this type were designed by Ercole Barovier and manufactured by Barovier & Toso, as well as by A.V.e.M. and Alfredo Barbini. Murano, circa 1940-50.
