Large bowl made of opalescent glass with floral decoration, VERLYS around 1925-35

Large bowl made of slightly bluish opaline glass, mold-pressed, with a richly embossed decoration on the underside in the form of four blossoms with tendrils and foliage, and a warmed and polished rim. The bowl is in undamaged condition, with slight signs of wear on the base. Verreries des Andelys, France, circa 1925-30. Height: approx. 7.0 cm, diameter: approx. 35.5 cm. Reference: VERLYS (1925-1946) is a partner in the company Holophane (Glasshouse of the Andelys – Hanots). The VERLYS brand originated from the contraction of VERrerie des AndeLYS.
