Large footed bowl with cobalt blue overlay & fine silver decoration, Josephinenhütte

Large bowl made of colorless lead crystal with cobalt blue overlay, solid round base, stepped bell-shaped body, faceted and wedge-cut walls, upper edge of the bowl with surrounding electroplated fine silver coating with ornamental decoration, elaborately cut-decorated bowl rim, polished base with ground-cut star. Shell is in intact condition. Josephinenhütte, designed by Siegfried Haertel, form 1318/2, decor S 1871 around 1926. Height: approx. 13.3 cm, diameter: approx. 23.2 cm.
