Glass bowl with cherry blossom decoration and silver-plated mount, Lorrain around 1900

Bowl made of colorless glass, walls made of ice glass-like etched ground, with all-round relief etched cherry blossom decoration painted in various green and magenta-colored transparent enamel, interior drawing in polished and relief gold, foot and bowl rim with silver-plated fitting. Bowl is in good condition, metal fitting slightly rubbed. Lorrain Nancy around 1900, branch of Daum for cheaper products. Height: approx. 9.4 cm, diameter at the top: approx. 17.6 cm. Lit: Some examples of this type were signed partly with transparent enamel in relief with (Lorrain) and in relief with (Lor) in enamel with a cap.
