A footed beaker made of clear glass, with a multi-faceted base, fan-shaped cut on the underside, glazed in alternating rose colors. A short stem with a stepped base at the bowl. A cylindrical body tapered in the center with nine faceted walls. Decorated in needle-etched black solder on a yellow ground with stylized worm-eye decoration and acanthus foliage, as well as a raised-cut oval medallion with engraved floral decoration. The visible side is engraved with the inscription "Memoirs of Teplitz," and the fused lip rim.The beaker is in undamaged condition.Johann Meyr, Adolfhütte near Winterberg, circa 1840.
