A footed alabaster glass beaker with light blue overlay. The notched, cylindrical ground base merges into a faceted stem. The multifaceted, bell-shaped bowl features individual panels with highly polished button medallions and pasty opaque enamel and burnished gold painting depicting blossoms and tendrils. The rim is offset with three burnished gold stripes and a gilt rim. The beaker is in undamaged condition; the body is slightly crooked (due to production); small notches on the rim. Bohemia, probably Annathal near Schüttenhoffen, circa 1835-40. Height: approx. 13.5 cm, diameter: approx. 9.0 cm.
