Lidded cup made of Russian green glass with oroplastic decoration, Haida around 1925

Covered cup made of Russian green glass, solid, square plinth, faceted shaft, curved cup faceted at the lower base, polished, gold-plated lip edge, wall with surrounding, gold-plated frieze in etched and cut decoration (oroplastic decoration). Lid with multi-faceted handle and surrounding ornamental frieze, polished base with strong traces of sliding. The cup is in intact condition, the gilding is more worn in places. Glass refinery in Haida, probably Karl Palda around 1920-25. Height: approx. 28.0 cm, diameter: approx. 12.5 cm.
