Beaker by Ludwig Hohlwein around 1904-06, labeled Stall-Milieu

Beaker made of colorless, blistered glass, cylindrical body with a solid, raised base. The visible side features a polychrome, humorous depiction of a peasant woman in enamel painting, inscribed in noble black: "Stall---Milieu" and on the reverse with a pattern protector. The beaker is in undamaged condition. Bavarian Forest, circa 1904-06, Theresienthal Crystal Glass Factory, designed by Ludwig Hohlwein, painted by Eduard Rau in Munich. Height: approx. 12.8 cm, diameter: approx. 7.7 cm.
