Vase made of colorless crystal glass with a cobalt blue overlay; the decoration—featuring a girl's head in profile with blossoms and a dove within an ornamental border—was executed using sandblasting/cold-working techniques after an initial cooling stage, then reheated, encased in a thick layer of colorless glass, blown and shaped, and the rim fire-polished; the base features a pontil mark and an engraved inscription: "Orrefors, Edvin Öhrström, 957913, Ariel Gallery 104-88." The vase is in excellent condition. Orrefors (Sweden); design by Edvin Öhrström; executed circa 1988. Height: approx. 20.0 cm; diameter: approx. 13.0 cm. Ref.: H. Ricke / U.
