Vase with ruby-red underlay, designed by H. Eiselt, Steinschönau, c. 1925

Vase of colorless glass with a ruby-red overlay; double-conical body featuring ten faceted panels and a solid base with a polished underside; richly decorated sides with gilded engraved ornamentation and gold-line detailing set between etched and gilded ornamental friezes; gilded rim. The vase is in excellent condition, with some rubbing to the gold lines in places. Hermann Eiselt glass workshop, Steinschönau, circa 1925–35. Height: approx. 15.5 cm; diameter: approx. 15.5 cm.
