Vase of colorless glass cased over opal glass; spherical body with a constricted, tubular neck and a fused rim; the walls feature fused-on silver-yellow and reddish-brown glass frit, with a strongly iridescent surface. Polished pontil mark on the base. The vase is in excellent condition. Fritz Heckert, Petersdorf; design by Otto Thamm, c. 1901–03. Height: approx. 10.8 cm; diameter: approx. 14.5 cm.
