Glashütte: Neuwelt

Vase made of colorless glass with opaline glass overlay and sealing wax red and colorless overlay, trumpet-shaped hollow base, baluster-shaped body with wide mouth, wall with surrounding geometric and ornamental decoration (meander frieze) in polished gold painting, base and mouth edge with polished gold application. Vase is in intact condition with small production-related ash inclusions in the wall. Count Harrach'sche Glasfabrik, Neuwelt, around 1860-80. Height: approx. 24.3 cm. Lit: Jan Mergl, 300 Years of Harrach Glass.
