Vase made of colorless, thick-walled glass with gray opal glass, ovoid body with rolled mouth, the intermediate layer with moving, metallic color melts, polished base, wall above the stand signed: Alina Görny 1982/1 . Vase is in intact condition, wall with small scratches. Alina Görny, around 1982, height: approx. 17.8 cm. The selling price at the time from the artist was 2000.00. Lit: Alina Görny studied painting, graphics and glass design at the University of Fine Arts in Wroclaw in Poland. In 1977 and 1978 she worked at the Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington with Gary Beecham, Dale Chihuly, David Huchthausen and Joel Myers. In 1981 she became co-owner of the Franzensbad glass studio in Baden near Vienna.
