Unica art glass vase with melted interlayer decoration, Leerdam, Valkema

Vase made of colorless, thick-walled glass with opaline-colored underlay, double-conical body, wall with melted-in interlayer decoration in white, orange-red and opaque-brown crumbs, warmed rim, base with dislocated tear and inscribed in diamond engraving: Leerdam Unica V8032g and Sybren Valkema. Vase is in undamaged condition with a small inclusion on the lower rim. Leerdam, Netherlands, designed by Sybran Valkema, around 1980. Height: approx. 27.5 cm, diameter: approx. 26.5 cm, weight: approx. 7.7 kg.
