Heavy finger basin made of colorless, thick-walled glass in an octagonal shape, stepped body with a flared octagonal base featuring a six-lobed wedge-shaped star, the curved sides with peeled, beveled decoration, the wide flared rim ground, polished, and finished with burnished gold, the rim with micro-chips that formed before the finishing. The basin is intact with significant scuff marks. Brandenburg/Zechlin, circa 1720-30. Height: approx. 6.0 cm, Diameter: approx. 29.2 cm, Depth: approx. 23.0 cm.
