Product Details
Rare double-handled vase with wild birds made of smoke-colored glass, depiction of wild birds in a grassy landscape in polychrome and white, pasty enamel painting on the front and back on the flattened wall on both sides. The side handles and the cylindrical neck decorated with leaves in white, gold-contoured enamel painting, gilded edges. Production-related stress crack between the round base and the glass bulb, which can occur during melting or cooling. The stress crack is not continuous and tight. Vase was filled with water. Cristallerie J.J. G & S de Meisterdorf in Bohemia. 1880. Height: approx. 39.0 cm, diameter: approx. 24.5 cm.
