Product Details

Glashütte: St. Petersburg Imperial Glass Factory

Bowl/vase made of colorless glass with cobalt blue overlay, octagonal round base, octagonal body with laced neck and curved cut bowl rim, the individual fields with high-cut and cut-decorated oval medallions, the remaining walls with gold and opaque enamel painting as well as floral decoration in polychrome enamel painting, base with dislocated tear. Bowl is in undamaged condition with age-related micro chip. Russia, probably St. Petersburg, Imperial Glass Factory, around 1835-40. Height: approx. 9.3 cm, diameter: approx. 11.5 cm.
