Glashütte: Josephinenhütte
Large bowl made of colorless crystal glass, with a recessed rounded base. The body is decorated with cut, polychrome-painted, and gilded ornamentation: fruits with foliage and branches. The rim is gilded, and the brass mount features rocaille work on ball feet. The handles are flared at the sides. The decorative bowl is intact, though the painting shows some wear. Josephine Glassworks, circa 1880-1900. Overall height: approx. 17.5 cm, diameter: approx. 33.0 cm, bowl diameter: approx. 21.0 cm. Lit.: Stefania Zelasko, Josephinenhütte 1900-50.
