Glashütte: Josephinenhütte

Römer made of colorless glass with spirally enclosed blue and white threads, trumpet-shaped hollow shaft with two beaded rings and widely flared stand, attached spherical cup with fused lip edge, base surface is additionally ground vertically to create special effects, polished stand. Römer is in a intact state. Count Schaffgottsch'sche Josephinenhütte, Schreiberhau, designed by Franz Pohl, executed by Alois Seidel around 1850-55. Height: approx. 12.8 cm. Lit: S. Zelasko.
