Magnificent cup with gold and enamel painting, a gallant couple, Harrach'sche Neuwelt

Large cup made of colorless glass, disc base with thickened, polished edge on the bottom, conical shaft with enclosed air spiral merging into a conical bowl. Kuppa from the top running green on the inside, front side with enamel painting in the form of a gallant couple surrounded by impasto gold and burnished gold painting, base and mouth edge with burnished gold application. Cup is in intact condition. Harrach'sche Neuwelt, probably designed by Josef Petrícek around 1890. Height: approx. 28.0 cm. Lit: J. Mergl, 300 Years of Harrach Glass, pages 236 -237.
