Glashütte: Josephinenhütte

Pointed goblet / cup made of colorless glass, disc base, diamond-faceted shaft with rosette made of nine pierced air bubbles. On the flared cup a very finely painted coat of arms (heraldry) by Bruning 1892, the Goedecke brothers in Hanover, in gold and enamel colors, gold-plated lip edge. Signed on the bottom of the foot: Geb. Goedecke Hannover. Cup is in intact condition. Schaffgotsch'sche Josephinenhütte, design by Arthur Gerlach, form 107, painting by Gebr. Goedecke Hannover. around 1890-1900. Height: approx. 24.0 cm. Lit: Stefania Zelasko, Josephinenhütte 1900-50, page 93.
