Small bowl with bubble inclusions, Venini, designed by Carlo Scarpa, 'A bollicine' 1935

Small bowl on a rounded base, four-sided rising walls with rounded corners, colorless glass with a dense bubble pattern, a dislocated tear with the etched Venini Murano stamp. The bowl is in undamaged condition with production-related impurities and a small open air bubble. Venini Murano, designed by Carlo Scarpa, a bollicini series, circa 1925-35. Height: approx. 4.8 cm, diameter: approx. 9.3 cm. Reference: The 'A Bollicini' decoration was designed by Carlo Scarpa for the 1932 Biennale.
