Glashütte: Josephinenhütte

Goblet glass Fridericus Rex made of heavy colorless glass, round base with notched cut star, faceted ground shaft, which has several steps. Solid conical cup in the lower part with seven pierced air beads, the front side with a raised round medallion on the faceted wall, this with a gold-contoured monogram FR with standards and cannons in polished relief gold. Cup is in intact condition. Count Schaffgotsch'sche Josephinenhütte, Schreiberhau, around 1912. Design by Alexander Pfohl. Height: approx. 18.5 cm. Weight 401 grams. Lit: Stefania Zelasko, Josephinenhütte 1900-50, page 202. The glass is part of the Great Prussia service commissioned from the Josephinenhütte by Kaiser Wilhelm II in 1912 on the occasion of the 200th birthday of "Old Fritz". was given.
