Decanter with stopper and Kakiemon decoration in enamel painting, Daum / Louis Damon

Carafe with a stopper made of colorless, optically ribbed glass, ribbed round base with polished outline, drop-shaped body, wall with surrounding Asian decor in enamel painting, foot and mouth edge with gold decoration, bottom of the carafe marked: Damon & Delisle 20 Bd Malesherbes Paris (in polished gold painted on). The carafe is in good condition, slight limescale deposits on the inside, gilding rubbed in places. Manufactured by Daum Freres, Nancy, around 1895-1900, painting by the atelier of Louis Damon (1860-1947) in Paris. Height: approx. 27.0 cm.
