Product Details

Glashütte: Salviati

Carafe/jug of colorless glass, blown with a diagonal optic pattern; features a high kick-up base with a snapped-off pontil mark, a trumpet-shaped body with a tubular neck, and an applied, optically ribbed strap handle. The body is decorated with applied, wavy pink glass threads, and the handle terminates in a molded lion's head; includes a matching stopper. The carafe is in excellent condition. Attributed to the Salviati glassworks, late 19th century. Height: approx. 27.0 cm; diameter: approx. 14.0 cm.
