Large handle jug with a nobleman in enamel painting, Theresienthal around 1880

Large handle jug made of green glass, trumpet-shaped base with upwardly folded rim and wavy band, on the conically tapered wall a colorful enamel painting depicting a nobleman in Renaissance clothing. Curved handle on the back with applied berry nub at the base. Theresienthaler crystal glass factory, around 1880-90. Height: 30.5cm. Literature: see Passau Glass Museum Volume III, page 167.
